Levels of Participation:

Special Awards are given at the international level and include scholarships, internships, equipment grants and scientific field trips. SSP encourages colleges and universities to provide tuition scholarships to Intel ISEF Finalists. The opportunity to meet and talk with these high caliber students has proven to be a valuable recruiting tool.

Organizations may also choose to reward students that participate in Intel ISEF-affiliated fairs throughout the United States and over 50 countries through the Regional Award program. These awards, administered annually by SSP through the Intel ISEF-affiliated fair network, include scholarships, prizes, plaques, certificates, and unique award packages. Regional awards are provided at the local science fair level rather than at the Intel ISEF.
